About me

The human anatomy is an amazingly, complex miracle of everyday function.

Hey!

My name is Cathy. Growing up as a competitive athlete, I have always been drawn to learning about the body and how our movement patterns affect the way we approach activity through our lives. I became a massage therapist to help facilitate your body’s natural healing process to give back the joy of movement without discomfort. I am fascinated with the body’s intricacies and the musculative ‘pulley system’ we live in, navigating with our nervous systems to allow our constrictions to release and promote freedom to move with ease.

My style is nurturing, but therapeutic in nature, and I welcome open communication with you to collaborate that gives you what you need in your massage session. I am not specific to any one modality but carefully and thoughtfully tailor your massage with a combination of learned techniques. I bring my knowledge to you through my training in massage school, years as a personal trainer, corporate wellness program coordinator and my Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology. As a mother of two teenagers and living an active lifestyle, I am always on the move; you can find me hiking, cycling, swimming, surfing or trying something new.

Our unique bodies allow for flexibility and the processes towards the path to healing and strength take time. I strive to get you feeling better, more mobile and calmer each time you visit and going forward into your daily life.

Please review my

Policies

When you book an appointment with me, I am 100% committed to providing you with the best experience possible. I value your time scheduled just for you, and in return I hope you can value my time with adhering to my policies.

Please read the following policies to ensure you have a well-deserved experience.

  • Sometimes things happen and you have to cancel or reschedule your appointment and that’s OK! There is no fee incurred if cancellation is given 24 hours prior to your appointment.

Notification that is given less than 24 hours prior to your appointment will result in a 50% charge of your scheduled service amount and will be charged on a valid credit card that will be on file in a secure and encrypted system.

Cancellations with less than 4 hours’ notice will be charged the 100% of the scheduled service amount. A straight NO SHOW without call or text will be charged 100% to the credit card on file. If you can find someone to fill your spot, the fee will be waived.

If you become sick, have a fever the day of your appointment, or other personal emergency that doesn’t allow you to honor your appointment, you will be charged 50% of the scheduled amount. If you can find a referral to fill your spot, the fee will be waived.

**When you cancel on short notice, my livelihood and time is jeopardized. Without enough time to refill your spot, you're also taking an appointment away from someone else who could benefit from my care. **

  • Out of respect and consideration for both our time together, if you arrive late I can only give you whatever time remains of your appointment and you will be charged the full amount of the service time you requested. I want to give you the FULL allotted time you signed up for, so please be mindful of your arrival time management.

  • A credit card will be required to be put on file at the time of booking your appointment, but will only be used in accordance with my cancellation policy.

I prefer payment of cash, Venmo, PayPal or check.

  • In order to give you the best experience, please know to communicate ANYTHING and everything, including your needs, preferences, requests, or feedback, at any time before, during, or after your massage. As your massage therapist I want your HONEST feedback - positive or negative – and I will not take offense to it.
